Our published packages are $995/month (Essentials), $2,225/month (Growth) and $5,195/month (Scale) in CAD. Price is driven by transaction volume, number of employees on payroll, how many provinces you operate in, and the number of bank, credit card and merchant accounts to reconcile. Custom pricing is available for anything outside these tiers.

Can you catch up books that are months or years behind?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Catch-up bookkeeping is available as an add-on. We start with a scoped review of the backlog — periods missing, accounts to reconcile, payroll and remittances outstanding — then quote a one-time catch-up fee before any work begins. Once your books are current, they move onto a regular monthly package.

Do you work with businesses outside Ontario?

Yes. YNL is based in Ontario and serves clients across Canada. Our processes are aligned with CRA regulations, and we work with provincial payroll and employment-standards requirements wherever your business operates, including payroll spanning several provinces.

What CRA deadlines should I not miss?

Accepted Answer

For most regular remitters, payroll source deductions are due by the 15th of the month after payroll was paid. T4 and T4A slips must be filed and issued by the last day of February. GST/HST returns are due on the schedule assigned to your business — monthly, quarterly or annually. Late remittances attract penalties and interest, so we build these dates into your monthly calendar. Your own remitter type may differ; we confirm it during onboarding.

How do I switch providers or hand over my books without breaking anything?

We run a structured handover: read-only access to your current file first, a reconciliation of opening balances, then a cut-over date agreed with you and your previous provider. Nothing is changed in your live file until balances are verified. Most switches are complete within 1–2 weeks with no gap in payroll or filings.

We work with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Wave, Sage, and most major payroll platforms (ADP, Wagepoint, Ceridian). If you already have a stack, we'll plug into it. If you don't, we'll recommend and set up the right tools for your size and industry.

We're transparent about our scope. We do not provide tax filing for complex corporate returns (we partner with CPAs for that), legal advice, investment or financial planning advice, audit attestation, or bank financing services.
